Eagle Rock Music Festival

For those of us that will not be dropping fifty bucks on the Detour Festival in LA this Saturday (although check out the Submarines if you do, one of our favorite records of the year!!!) there is a much cheaper option (tough to beat free) in the Eagle Rock Music Festival, which will be going on from 5pm to midnight.

Among the bands playing are Abe Vigoda, Crystal Antlers, Earlimart, Mika Miko, The Parson Red Heads, Radar Bros, Princeton, and Very Be Careful. The show is put on by the Center for the Arts, which offers free and low cost art education for kids, offers affordable rates to artists on performance spaces, and an exhibition space for art projects.

Check out the new track from Abe Vigoda, "Animal Ghosts", from their new album Skeletons.
