Half Of Us

MTVU ran a study which found that nearly half of all college students reported problems with depression so great that it affected basic day to day functions and relationships. In an effort to build awareness of this issue and to encourage those suffering from mental health issues to find help they started the website Half of Us.

The goal of Half of Us is to initiate conversations on campuses about issues that students are dealing with and to help connect them to the resources that they need in order to deal with them. There are stories shared online that help fight the stigma of problems that are common to us all, and to show that students dealing with these issues are in no way alone.

There is a community out there that is willing to help, and if you're dealing with issues please reach out and ask. If you have a friend that is hurting offer to help them find the treatment that they need. Check out the story below from Max Bemis of Say Anything and click here to find out more information about Half of Us.
