Feist Fights Hunger On Fall Tour

Oh, Canada. You've given us maple syrup, superior hockey teams, and now and easy way to help fight world hunger. Canuck and sometimes Broken Social Scenester Feist is partnering with the affiliates of Canadian Association of Food Banks on each date of her fall/winter tour to help fight hunger one non-perishable can at a time.

Not only is the songstress/math whiz helping fight hunger with our friends up north, she's also donating all of the proceeds from her merchandise sales to Doctors Without Borders, War Child Canada, and Care Canada. All that and still time to hang out with Stephen Colbert and Elvis Costello to film a Christmas DVD that's out 11/25, a portion of which will go to Feeding America. Someone's better at time management than we are.

Count down from 4, 3, 2, 1 and see her on the following dates...
10-14 Penticton, British Columbia - South Okanagan Events Centre *
10-16 Edmonton, Alberta - Rexall Place *
10-18 Calgary, Alberta - Pengrowth Saddledome *
