Plays Well for Others

I hibernate anytime the temp drops below 50 so you know his Orchestra had to have serious potential to get me out of my bed last night. I was not disappointed. his Orchestra had an impressive turn out of listeners packed near the front of the room. That's hard to find in our jaded city.

Drawing on a variety of influences, his orchestra's artfully composed songs with foot tapping melodies and bittersweet vocals were a hit with the crowd.

Hey they aren't bad to look at either.

A short chat with drummer Raviv and lead singer Doug revealed BIG things on the horizon including a debut record mixed by Dave Trumfio (Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Mates of State) to be released in early 09.

Listen for his Orchestra playing the theme song for the new ABC family show Roommates!

You'll have to wait until January to see the band play live again. In the meantime, check them out on myspace - myspace.com/hisorchestramusic.
